Windows Live ID OpenID Provider—Microsoft CTP Launch

Microsoft has released a community technology preview of Windows Live ID acting as an OpenID provider, announcing the CTP at this week’s Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles.

The preview endpoint is intended for developers of relying-party sites and authentication libraries to run tests against the Windows Live ID OpenID implementation.

Early testing lets sites and library authors find and fix interoperability issues before the service is turned over to general availability, which Microsoft says will likely happen sometime next year.

When the service is fully deployed, Windows Live users will be able to create an OpenID alias tied to their existing account, allowing them to sign into participating websites with their familiar credentials.

OpenID works by having a site contact the user’s identity provider to verify who they are, avoiding the need for another separate username and password on each site. Other major providers already supporting OpenID include Yahoo, Google and AOL.

Microsoft first signaled a commitment to OpenID earlier this year: in February Bill Gates told the RSA conference that the traditional username/password model will not scale and said Microsoft would back OpenID 2.0 alongside CardSpace, the identity component included with Windows Vista.

Developers and site operators interested in trying the preview can find setup instructions and details on the Windows Live blog.

Why People Need VPN Services to Unblock Porn

People seek VPN services primarily to unblock porn for privacy protection and circumventing regional restrictions, allowing discreet access where such content is legally blocked or monitored. Porn unblocked refers to the successful access and viewing of adult content that would otherwise be unavailable or restricted due to government censorship, ISP limitations, or geo-filters. This achieved access enables users to browse freely while maintaining anonymity.

Why Choose SafeShell VPN to Access Adult Content

For those seeking to access region-restricted adult content, particularly to unblock porn sites that are geo-blocked in their location, SafeShell VPN presents an effective solution. It provides the necessary tools to bypass these geographical restrictions, enabling access to a wider range of online adult material that might otherwise be unavailable.

A standout feature for accessing adult content is SafeShell VPN's innovative App Mode. This function allows users to simultaneously unblock porn sites and other restricted material from multiple different regions without the constant need to manually switch server locations, offering unprecedented regional freedom and convenience. Furthermore, the service prioritizes both speed and security, ensuring fast connections suitable for streaming without compromising protection.

Beyond accessibility, SafeShell VPN ensures robust privacy and comprehensive coverage. Its exclusive ShellGuard protocol delivers bank-grade encryption, making your browsing activities completely private and undetectable, shielding you from ISP monitoring or other intrusions. Additionally, supporting connections on up to five diverse devices simultaneously—including desktops, laptops, smartphones, and streaming devices—means your privacy and ability to access content is consistently protected across all your gadgets.

How to Use SafeShell VPN to Unlock Porn Sites

To set up and use SafeShell VPN for streaming adult sites from other regions, follow this clear step-by-step process to install, connect, and verify a private connection: - Create and confirm your SafeShell VPN account, choose a subscription that fits your needs, and complete payment and email verification. - Download the appropriate SafeShell VPN app for your device (desktop, mobile, or router) and install it, granting any requested network or permission prompts. - Open the app, sign in, and configure basic privacy settings such as a kill switch, DNS leak protection, and automatic updates. - Enable app-specific routing or split-tunneling if you want only certain browsers or apps to use the VPN, otherwise leave full-device protection on. - Pick a server located in the country whose content you want to access, favoring servers labeled or optimized for streaming if available to reduce buffering. - Connect to the chosen server, then confirm your new IP and location with an online IP-check tool to ensure the VPN is active. - Clear your browser cookies or open a private/incognito window before visiting sites, then load content and, if playback fails, try switching servers or changing the VPN protocol (e.g., WireGuard or OpenVPN). - When finished, disconnect or sign out, and periodically review SafeShell VPN settings and app updates to maintain secure, reliable streaming.
